  • Christine and Tom this is the first married formal photo we had taken after our wedding 1971. I wore no makeup back then and very few women wore makeup in New England.

  • Tom standing in the bedroom/everything room of our first apartment in Saxonville, MA. This vest is the one he bought when he came back from Vietnam so he could blend into society again. This is before Tom's accident on the table saw where he lost the tops of his pinky, ring and thumb but guess what he still continued playing the guitar. 1971

  • Tom sporting that great vest sitting in the living-room which was very cozy reading one of the encyclopedia Britannica's! Who remembers those? Oh remember the bell bottom pants?

  • Christine in our cozy little living-room with the great view through sliding glass doors, wearing my new boutique bell bottom pants. I made the Batik pillow next to me in High School with bees-wax and paraffin for cracking, pen and indigo dyes to paint colors on muslin fabric, then you use an iron to melt wax off fabric placed in between absorbent paper. The different colors are applied in between drying stages. Oh how I miss this part of the art world! Who remembers having a nut bowl with the nut cracker and pick? 1971

  • Tom all dressed up and looking fine! This was before he had his table saw accident. 1971

  • Tom made us spam and eggs and can he make some mean home-fries! That was our little kitchen in our first apartment in Saxonville, MA. Funny isn't it the pots I had were UT orange, which is one of my favorite colors! 1971

  • Tom on our honeymoon trip to Sturbridge Village, 1790s through 1830s. It is the largest living museum in New England, covering more than 200 acres (80 hectares). The Village includes 59 antique buildings, three water-powered mills, and a working farm. The museum is a popular tourist and educational field trip destination. Costumed interpreters speaking in modern language help visitors understand 19th century life. 1971 Ya gotta love those bell bottom pants!

  • This is our bedroom-everything room when we had our friends over, it had the most sitting area in our first apartment. Bob Belair on guitar, Dianna Belair sitting behind with me on the bed. I am pregnant with our first son, Justin. 1971 This wasn't too far off from the days when we would spend most of our time in Hotel rooms, it must have been a plan!

  • The other side of the bedroom/ everything room. Music was a huge part of our entertainment from day one and even now, the reunions are best when someone plays music and sings! Tom, Bob Belair, John Cormier, Jim Cormier, Jerry Clubda. Dianna her two boys and I have the best seats in the house or should I say apartment! 1971

  • Laundry was done outside of the apartment, so here I am getting ready for my first baby. By the way, you will see this blue button down shirt many times later in life, as the youngest of 4 girls, I never minded wearing clothes till they were threadbare! I still buy used clothing! 1971

  • Christine making supper in our first apartment. I am pregnant with our first son Justin. All my maternity clothes were passed down from my 3 older sister's too. 1971
