The purpose of this society shall be to bring together those people interested in the history of Caldwell County. The society's function will be to research, record and display material which may help to establish or illustrate the history of Caldwell County, and provide for the preservation and accessibility of such material. Also to provide upkeep, restoration and history of the Caldwell Historical Society Building.
