Long days and nights without breaks places a family caregiver at risk for a wide range of emotional and physical health issues, financial issues, and work-related challenges. By providing respite (a break) to caregivers, we can preserve the well-being and quality of life for both the caregiver and the individual they are caring for. Equally important, we can provide an honored place in history and bring family closer together as Storykeeper Volunteers.
