My love of family history began as a child, when I listened to stories related around the dinner table and at family gatherings. I have been pursuing family history for 45 years. When I began it was slow going, lots of letter writing, rolls and rolls of microfilm and visits to various repositories. I love the turn genealogy has taken in recent years. This is truly the golden age of family history.
