...I am a Canadian, of Salvadorean descent. When I was 5 my parents moved to the US and then when I was 11, they were able to get refugee status in Canada. I grew up in East Vancouver, British Columbia and attended both Langara College (Associate of Arts Degree) and Simon Fraser University (Bachelor in General Studies- History and First Nations Minors).
