My first crush on a girl, the War and my future wife
Bill has his first crush on a girl at the local swimming club at age 16. However, his love of sailing took precedence over the next few years and then at 22 he went to serve in World War II. Bill felt very lost when he returned from the war at the age of 28, however at a local dance he met the woman who became his wife of 61 years.
