In this story Margaret recalls her first job which was becoming a Wren as it was wartime.

Bill talks about landing in New Guinea and the Kokoda Track. This came about because he had been speaking at Rostrevor College to a group of students who were about the walk the track in the footsteps of Bill and his Australian Army colleagues in the Second World War.  

Alice continues her story from last week about her husband Stan and his experiences in Germany during WWII.

Alice talks about her marriage to Stan, a Polish migrant, and the story he told her when he saw a Deutz 1938 tractor in the Edililie Museum. He remembers how a tractor like this saved his life during the final years of World War Two.
